God’s Nutrition vs. Man’s Nutrition

 


The 2 most important (and easiest) things to change:

  1. Stop using white sugar – instead use raw honey or fruit
  2. Stop using white flour – instead use whole wheat flour

 

Another important step is to read all labels for additives.

 

Be sure to AVOID these harmful and unnecessary additives:

  1. BHA, BHT, MSG – monosodium glutamate
  2. Hydrogenated and partially hydrogenated oils – which are just dangerous synthetic fats.
  3. Nitrates, also avoid added vitamins ie. Thiamin, riboflavin
  4. Artificial color,
  5. Artificial flavors, corn starch, nutrasweet (aspartame)
  6. Words ending in “ose” such as dextrose and maltose
  7. Words that you can’t pronounce
  8. Any “Food-by-Man”

 

FOODS ALLOWED

 

BEVERAGES:

Distilled water

Fresh squeezed Juice

Fresh vegetable juice

Rice, almond or soy milk

 

PROTEIN:

Eggs – especially egg whites

Fish – grilled, broiled or baked especially salmon, mackerel

Skinned chicken & turkey

Beans – navy, kidney, pinto

Raw nuts – almonds, macadamian

 

CARBOHYDRATES:

Whole grains – wheat, bran, oats,rye, brown rice, millet, etc.

Seeds – sesame, pumpkin, flaxseed

All vegetables – raw or frozen – steam or baked

 

FATS:

Oils – cold processed, monounsaturated and polyunsaturated

 

 

FOODS TO AVOID

 

BEVERAGES:

Alcohol

Cocoa

Coffee

Carbonated Beverages, Sugar Drinks

 

PROTEIN:

Fried Eggs

Fried fish – especially shellfish

Pork – all prepared meats – sausage, cold cuts, wieners, ham, etc.

Nuts – Roasted and salted

 

 

CARBOHYDRATES:

Grains – All refined or processed grains. White flour, white rice, prepared mixes

Noodles and macaroni from white flour

Vegetables – Fried or canned.  Potato chips and corn chips

Candied Fruits

FATS:

Oils – Saturated oils & fats, high fat foods, hydrogenated oils
